In the 6 months since opening our doors at Pihopa Retreat, there has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes.
It was important for us to be recognised as 5-star accommodation, so that when our guests come to stay they know they get the luxury they are expecting. Alongside that we needed to ensure all our processes were in place to make sure we are sustainable, safe and welcoming. We are the Kaitiaki of Pihopa Retreat at this point in time and our motto since the beginning is that everything, we do at Pihopa Retreat has the aim of having as low an impact as possible on our surroundings to ensure that it stays beautiful for the visitors of the future.
Earlier this month we were assessed and thrilled to say we have been rated 5-star accommodation and Qualmark Gold tier rating for our sustainability. So, we want to shout out loud and share it with you all and have added a fantastic little diagram which explains the badge we are now able to promote alongside our name.
This doesn’t mean we can now rest on our laurels! We will be assessed annually so you can stay confident that we will continue to keep up the great work to give you the best experience we can for your stay here at Pihopa Retreat.
