I rarely write reviews and I rarely am over the moon impressed – and here I am. Our experience at Pihopa Retreat was impeccable. Sarah and her team made us feel taken care of in all ways, while it also felt like we were at our own retreat. Everything from the evening canapés and drinks, a dip in the heated pool, amazing breakfasts, evening port by the fire, homemade treats in our room to the organizing of dinners and taxi’s in town so we saw something of Nelson beyond Abel Tasman track. We took a great hike straight from the property, and getting to town was super easy. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to New Zealand, and I would recommend a stop in Nelson if for nothing else than to stay here and enjoy everything on offer.
