The Eaton Suite
Whether you’re wanting to freshen up in a lavish bubble bath or stand and wash away the days fresh salt air in a luxurious rain shower, it will be your choice to make. Pop on your complimentary Pihopa Retreat dressing gown and slippers, make yourself a Nespresso or lovely pot of tea from our wide selection, or grab a glass of wine from the fridge or a digestive from the bar. We have so many choices – you may need to stay a while!

Join us for a delicious chef cooked breakfast to prepare yourself for the days adventures, our menu changes daily for you to enjoy.

Every suite has a well equipped kitchenette, offering a fridge, Nespresso machine, toaster and kettle to make your stay more comfortable. We also offer cheese platters and champagne & chocolate, to order, for those wanting to celebrate a special occasion or just to treat yourself of course!

Pihopa Retreat is set in 5.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, giving you plenty of space to relax and wander. The luxurious suites provide a home away from home. Our spacious and secluded villas have a bedroom and lounge area to relax in, or you can venture outside to soak up the atmosphere on the balcony. You may be joined by cheeky fantails, whilst watching weka and quails running across the lawn.
Each suite has its own kitchenette with a Nespresso machine and New Zealands only home grown tea, Zealong to enjoy before joining us for a delicious chef cooked breakfast.
Fibre wifi and internet enabled televisions are provided.
Onsite you have access to bikes to get you into town, or for the more adventurous enjoy a leisurely cycle on the Great Taste Trail. This takes you along a sparkling coastline, through picturesque countryside dotted with local art galleries, vineyards, and restaurants.
The heated swimming pool is available for use at any time.

A hidden gem close to central Nelson where we stayed for 2 nights. Pihopa is a quiet secluded haven yet with a view of the bay. We loved our suite which was furnished to the highest standard with great attention to detail and it even had a gas fire which made it so cosy. Home from home! Sarah was a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed. We wish we had stayed longer.
